Got take out at this place, and the food was freshly prepared and out in 20 min. After driving back home for about 20 min, the fried fish and chicken are still crispy! The fish is on the salty side, but the dry rub is so flavorful! Same are the chicken wings. The slight acidity in the seasoning perfectly balances out the heavy flavor of deep-fried food. The fried gizzards are pretty good! Super crispy and chewy on the inside. I've not had gizzards cooked this way, but it's super fun and tasty. The waffle is also very delicious. I personally like my waffle crispy. Although this waffle is very soft in the texture, the little sweet crumbs (with a cheese taste) on the surface make it pretty unique. I like this place a lot! Definitely will be back to try more stuff on the menu!

I just moved to some apartments near by and I wanted to try the local restaurants so I tried this one. I placed my order over the phone I purchased a little bit of everything and here’s my opinion. The price is what you will see at any restaurant, when I picked up my food the staff are very friendly and professional, food was ready at a reasonable time. The sides are ok and the waffles is fine it definitely would taste better if it was eaten fresh and not taken home to let get soggy. I wouldn’t come back for the waffles or sides. I would come back for everything else i had. The chicken wings, tenders, shrimp, pork chop, fish are AMAZING. They season them all perfectly! Nothing came out too dry all the meat items I bought seem to be amazing. So pass on the carbs when you come here and buy MEAT! You won’t be disappointed.

I ordered the 3 piece chicken tenders with 1 side of macaroni and cheese and my husband did the same but with rice and gravy for his side. Chicken tenders are usually just okay for me, but the breading on these is fantastic. The tenders were flavorful and moist. I am a mac and cheese person though and I would put theirs in my top three. Very very tasty. My husband's rice and gravy was also extremely tasty and we decided since the 3 tenders was more than enough (we each took 1 home) we would order 1 3 piece next time and then investigate more of their sides.

I am in town for the weekend with my family and decided to try this restaurant after a disappointing experience at a nearby competitor. I'm so glad we did! The customer service was outstanding, and the food was even better. Every dish was perfectly seasoned, hot, and fresh. The side dishes were equally impressive, and the chicken was amazing—it’s so good you don’t need anything with it! I’ll definitely return whenever I’m in town and will happily recommend this place to my friends and family.

The food was sooo good! Even though I received syrup, I did not need it. The waffle had so much flavor. The chicken was seasoned to perfection!! Service was quick so no waiting. Definitely go by if you in the area.

What a find! I've been to Austin a few times, and I was fortunate enough to stumble across this location in my endless search for good eats here in Texas. Boy did thet deliver on the soul. The oxtails were excellent, and the pudding for dessert is one of the best in the area, which is why they earn my coveted "Certified Mad Good" rating. Well done.

This was a great experience! Went for the first time with my family and we loved it.My baby loved the chicken and waffles the half red velvet was such a good blend. The chicken wings were delicious so flavorful everything was 1000/10 highly recommend and the service was perfect aswell
